Case Study

The problem

Design a house on a hillside with great views to the open landscape, high open ceilings and exposed beams.

Meeting with the customers we identified the problem and created a conceptual design. Also, at the initial meeting the customer presented several photos and sketches indicating the architectural styles they preferred.

Our Solution

In subsequent meetings the owners were presented with several preliminary design ideas based on the initial meeting.

When one of the preliminary designs was chosen, we proceeded to develop the ideas into a more detailed but still preliminary set of plans.

After several more weeks of back and forth, choosing materials for interior and exterior finishes, deciding on trim details, the plans were completed and the house was built.
